On June 30, 2007, State Fiscal Year 2007 draws to a close. Because Benchmark's current contract to administer the state's substance abuse prevention program ends on that date, all current Benchmark prevention subcontracts will also end on June 30, 2007.
Closing out State Fiscal Year 2007
All SFY 2007 contracted services must be completed on or before June 30, 2007. This includes all direct service sessions as well as any supplies or materials that were to be ordered as part of your Benchmark SFY 2007 contract. In order to receive payment for SFY 2007 services, all invoicing for SFY 2007 contracted services MUST be submitted through PreventionIdaho.net by July 14, 2007, 5:00 PM PT.
This means that prior to the deadline, all attendance data and outcomes data (if applicable) must be entered into the data system and all invoices must be submitted if you wish to receive payment for the services you have completed. According to your contract, invoices received after the July 14, 2007 deadline WILL NOT be processed.
July 14, 2007, 5:00 PM PT is a hard deadline.
Benchmark strongly encourages all prevention providers to work diligently to enter their remaining attendance and outcomes data and submit their invoices by the deadline. Because the Benchmark prevention subcontract is based on a fee for service model, any unused funds remaining in your contract as a result of undelivered or uninvoiced services will be returned to the State.
State Fiscal Year 2008
Benchmark is in final contract negotiations with the Department of Health and Welfare for the upcoming state fiscal year. Once Benchmark's contract with DHW is fully signed, we will begin contacting those applicants who will receive funding for SFY 2008 substance abuse prevention services. Benchmark will issue brand new 2008 contracts to the successful applicants, prioritizing those with summer prevention programs planned.
We appreciate the work everyone has done to promote substance abuse prevention over the past four years. We have enjoyed working with you to continue to advance the practice of substance abuse prevention in Idaho and look forward to working with many of you in the future.
